Linda Feinstein
Linda Feinstein is an intuitive acrylic painter who was born in Merrillville, Indiana. Her bold use of color attracts the viewer first and keeps their interest as they are taken further into the depths of the painting.
Linda studied with artists in many different styles until she developed her own unique approach to intuitive painting.
She has exhibited and sold original work throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Painting is my passion… I relish in creating, feeling the strokes, watching the process of nothing becoming some wonderful thing, making mistakes beautiful, watching each painting become what it wants to become.
“Linda’s work is a must see when you are looking for original intuitive and abstract paintings. Her bold use of color attracts you first and keeps your interest as you are taken further into the painting itself. Visit her studio and see for yourself.”
Artist Statement
Painting is my passion.I find joy in the process as I see nothing become something wonderful and watch the painting take on a life of its own.
As an intuitive painter working with acrylics and mixed media on large canvases, I let myself go by playing with bold colors and painting many layers with no attachment as to what the final outcome will be. At some point an image may appear and that’s when the painting directs me where it wants to go.
I love watching people view my paintings as they look at the canvas with curiosity. It thrills me when I see a spark in their eyes as they begin their own visual journey going deeper into the imagery and colors on the canvas.
It is my late husband, Eric, who was the catalyst for this journey of mine as an artist. He recognized my passion for painting and encouraged me to begin formal training which led me to the Dunedin Fine Art Center (DFAC).
Today I am living my dream and playing in my own studio, FeinArt Studio, in Dunedin, Florida.
